The son of a rocket scientist and a word savvy mother, Joshua Mertz is a writer, poet, filmmaker and all around creative guy.

Joshua is the author of the novel Machine Dreams, as well as a contributor to the award winning Halloween Anthology Harvest Tales & Midnight Revels. His fiction has been published in Aboriginal Science Fiction and Amazing Stories. He is also the only person ever to have had a poem publiched in Filmmakers Newsletter.

After a long career working as a teleprompter on such shows as Entertaiment Tonight, Joshua has retired and moved to Oregon.

Currently he is working on a couple of screenplays that are so cool that if you knew what they were about your brain would explode. And that would be messy.
